Vanity @ Pacific Centre
description
Vanity was a collaboration between Emily Carr University and Cadillac Fairview with the aim to create an installation which will be exhibited within Pacific Centre mall located in the core of Downtown Vancouver of Spring/Summer 2012.
Taking the whimsical aspects of Alice in Wonderand, the goal of the project is to create an unique shopping experience for the customers of Pacific Centre, increasing the footprints within the mall, while still holding true to the Cadillac Fairview's Green Initiatives.

The White Elephant
description
This is an installation proposal for Pacific Centre in Vancouver, BC. The concept is based on an English idiom, “Elephant in the room" which is an expression referring to an awkward social situation or taboo subject that is common knowledge but nobody wants to discuss or engage with.
The application for this project has been successful and will go ahead in May 2011. In the beginning, a white crate will be installed to create curiosity and anticipation. The exhibit consists of an abstracted elephant sculpture which plays back previously recorded "Elephant in the room" stories generated by an online community.
