B-Flat
description
Sculpture that speaks to my love of music, the cello and the people who play them. I carved the neck form a reclaimed piece of unknown wood, carved the mask from yellow cedar and built the body of sheetmetal that I brushed with a rotary metal brush and then wiped cherry stain into the scratched surfaces.
Robot Marker
description
The Robo Marker was made for my creative electronics class. The assignment was to make a mark of any kind using electronic means. In response i created a three foot long wearble robot arm, that gripped a pen, and with the flip of a switch, turned at the wrist and drew curved lines.
Primarily made from high density foam, and large popcicle sticks, it housed two high torque motors, and functioned well for about six minutes.

Lululemon’s innovative Lab retail store wanted to install eye catching window displays for the 2010 Olympics. Emily Carr was approached, and a team of students were tasked with creating and installing four window displays.
Casalingo
description
Logo design for an Italian eatery that uses inhouse handmade ingredients and serves comfy homecooked meals.
The name Casalingo represents handmade in Italian and the design is inspired by the gestural sign/hand laguage of Italian culture. The icon borrows from the gesture "Pefectto" meaning perfect.
Life of a Pill Bug

An artist book and display piece that explores the life and times of a Pill Bug (roly poly).
Constructed out of reclaimed wood veneer to reiterate the wood louse's natural food and home choice.
