Portfolio Requirements

MASTER OF APPLIED ARTS PORTFOLIO - SUBMIT ONLINE AT SLIDEROOM

PORTFOLIO
MAA applicants are required to submit a portfolio of 18 - 20 examples of their visual projects; this may include documentation of static 2D or 3D and dynamic sound, video, performance or other work.

All applicants must submit their portfolio to us online at SlideRoom. Before you use SlideRoom please make sure that you have applied through myBCcampus and that you have received an email from us acknowledging your application. Access to SlideRoom will open September 15, 2011 and close February 1, 2012.  Applicants may upload images (jpg) or video (mov, wmv, flv), music (mp3) and one multi page PDF document. For good image quality and fast upload, your image files should be sized around 1024 x 768px @ 72 dpi.  Please keep video files under 60MB each and 2 - 3 minute clips.  Our SlideRoom portal offers additional instruction for submitting your work. For technical assistance, contact support@slideroom.com  . You can also access a help desk at http://slideroom.zendesk.com . SlideRoom will allow you to log in and edit your portfolio as much as you like; however, please note that once you have submitted it, you will no longer be able to make changes.  A $10 USD fee will be charged to the applicant at the time of submission. Please note that there are several programs listed at our SlideRoom portal; it is very important that you upload your images into the correct program that you are applying for.

 Note:  In order to show us research drawings and images from sketchbooks you may upload these examples as a multi page PDF document.  You are permitted one PDF file with a maximum 6 pages - note: this will be considered as one of your 18 - 20 image submissions.
