Follow the checklist below to apply for admission to Emily Carr.
1. Review your academic eligibility and apply online.

Late applications will not be considered, so make sure you meet our submission deadlines.
As a graduate applicant you must apply online using the EducationPlannerBC Application Service. You will only be able to select Emily Carr from the list of BC institutions when applications open. A non-refundable application fee is required for all graduate applications.
You may only apply to one graduate program at Emily Carr.
2. Submit your transcripts to Emily Carr.
Academic transcripts from an accredited post-secondary university or college must be sent by mail or courier, or dropped off in person.

If your first language is not English you must submit an official English language proficiency test score.
3. Prepare and submit your portfolio and supporting documents.
Applicants must submit a portfolio and supporting documents online. Supporting documents include:
- Statement of Intent
- Recommendation Letters
- Curriculum Vitae/Resume
- Video Question
4. Receive updates and the result of your application.
During the admissions process and after your application is complete, watch your inbox for important information that we will share with you via email.
