    At my 52nd, Full Deck, birthday party, David brought this music as a present; the photos and video were taken (in twilight and with a tiny camera) by Elaine Jaltema, August 21, 2009.  The party and the music were the motivation for an album of Jane's music: Breathing August.

    Annual Goof Off Day (AGOG) is a tradition that involes skiing Whistler or Blackcomb as late as possible in the season. This particular May day offered fresh powder, a fine blue sky, and four part harmonies on the chairlift. The music is "Humours Of Winter Solstice" by Jane Slemon, written (in December of 1985) when Jane was missing winter on a beach in Thailand.
