“Landed” will ambitiously travel across geographies and history to track the Iranian immigrant experience from leavetaking to homecoming. I strive to navigate my new home while confronted by challenges associated with my status as a new immigrant.
About the Artist
Shaghayegh Haghdoust is an Iranian filmmaker and artist based in Vancouver and holds Bachelor Degree in Media Arts at Emily Carr University and in Digital Film and Television from Limkokwing University.Now, she teaches filmmaking at The Cinematheque.
