Let There Be Light was created in the darkroom using pointer lasers, cut glass and light sensitive paper. This combination shapes the light, creates and captures imagery without the need to use a camera.

About the Artist
Maria Michopulu is image based artist, about to graduate with her BFA in Photography from ECU. She is also working as an apprentice for Annie Briard. Maria was born and raised in Prague, Czech Rep. but is now living and working in Vancouver, BC.
