For this interspecies project, the artists ask: what is a dog experiencing the moment just before catching a ball? Could it be proto-euphoric—eager, expectant, desirous? The performance explores visualizing and sonifying, in a live setting, canine collaborator Tom’s state of mind.

Scarves blow in the wind like prayer flags with messages of remembrance and calls to end violence against women. At a remembrance ceremony on December 6th, 2009 in Vancouver, women and men literally wear their hearts on their sleeves to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of the Montreal Massacre at L'Eole Polytechnique as well as to remember women and children murdered everywhere. This work is my first piece to explore interactive wearable art. three distence sensors are carefully embedded in flowers on my dress. a lilypad arduino, a speaker, and batteries are hidden on the back of the fan I hold and become invisible for the viewers. when the viewers use a microphone to close exame the body to search signal, sharp sounds will occur.
