Despite the new expansion and opening of the Canada Line, Vancouver’s transit system still has many aspects of inefficiency that is due to preliminary organization/treatment of each means of transport as seperate entities instead of a whole. The ideal Transport system is holistic hence efficient, and we will eventually get there, but should it take as long as it is taking?

Interactive toy project for Core Design Studio IV. Designed in collaboration with Andrew Siu.
Interactive Musical Device that produces tones and loops. Sound can be manipulated by physically moving and controlling certain elements of the device.
IR sensors detect the distances of propeller blades triggering a corresponding tone to emit from the device.
Tip Top: Interactive toy for children

Tip Top is a collaboration project between Industrial Design students, Communication Design students, and young co-creators to create an interactive product for kids using only wood. As a collective, we created a new balancing game that encourages interaction between the children and also with their parents. The graphic elements on the board act as a point system which each ring represents a different point value.

'ZUAH'~ Is an assitive communication device for people who have lost the ability to speak (Often associated with MS or ALS disorders). This device transmits pre-recorded messages (of the users former voice, or other human voice) to a speaker unit, based on the gesture during the conversation. The device uses an excelerometer to monitor and transmit the movement and choose the approriate recording. The device also contains a text window, so that the verbally impaired user can communicate more lengthy messages that have not been previously recorded. In this instance, t
"Me Looking at You Looking at Me" Event Invitations
description
objective : This project took on many forms. At this stage the event had to be marketed to office workers. The challenge was to build preciousness into what was essentially in the end just another advertisement.
This was accomplished through:
Silk screening and hand threading each invitation, making the invite small and wrapped up as well as placing them in unpredictable but noticeable spots, including attaching it to each elevator button.
