There is an issue with use of network currently impacting speed

There is currently a saturation issue impacting the network. We are investigating and will update with our findings.

As of 2:33 pm today we made a configuration change that should alleviate the issue.

We will continue to monitor.

We have completed our investigation and found that there was a surge of inbound network traffic when the Mac Lab computers performed an update. The Mac team is looking into the issue.

Additionally we increased our internet bandwidth to accommodate our network use.

This incident is now considered resolved.
