ECU wishes to recognize the long service of employees through its new program, "Accolades." For its inaugural year, HR will be hosting a semi-formal event called Accolades, where the university will celebrate the 203 employees who have contributed over 5 years of service.

The event will kick off at 3:30 pm in the Reliance Theatre with an Aboriginal welcoming ceremony, light speech and recognition by the president. The ceremony will conclude by 4:00 pm, where guests can then make their way to the Atrium for the reception. There will be live music, bartenders manning bars, hors d'oeuvres passed around, and platters stationed throughout the floor for guests to enjoy.
