Come learn about and watch a real 16mm film over lunchtime! This analog format was the standard for home viewing until the VHS format became popular in the early 1980's. Experience film differently through the magic of film projection and learn the basics of analog projection.

Media Resources technician Amanda Thomson will demonstrate how to safely handle, project, and assess the condition of 16mm film reels - and then screen one of our old films!

This workshop will take place in Study Room 1 on the lower floor of the Library on Tuesday, July 16th, from 12-1pm. Food and drink are permitted so bring your lunch if you like!

This event is part of our Summer Teens programming, but all members of our ECU community are welcome to participate. There is only space for 12 people in the room, so students in the Summer Teens program will be prioritized if we reach maximum capacity.
