Beyond The Surface includes the work of three artists who graduated from Emily Carr University of Art + Design at various times in the history of the school: Dorothy Doherty, Olga Campbell and Jane McDougal. Each artist has continued to work with creative media since graduation, and have expressed their interest in art in various ways, and with various media.
You can view the mixed media paintings that resulted from their time spent at an art workshop last year, with the materiality and process evident in the work.
To view the exhibition, please call 604.257.5111 for an appointment. There will be strict physical distancing in the gallery, with a limit of 5 people at a time.
