What is Canvas Clash?

The Event

Canvas Clash is a friendly speed painting competition featuring artists from universities and the community across the lower mainland. 100% of all funds raised will go to the Canadian Cancer Society to support the amazing work they do. The event features five rounds of fast-paced painting, raffles, food and drinks, and an incredible art auction.

The Face-Off

Students will sign up in teams of up to four. Audience members can also indicate at the event that they are interested in participating and will be formed into teams depending on availability. Teams will participate in four lightning rounds of single and team-based painting challenges where they will have 20 minutes to create a painting based on a theme.

The audience will vote on whose paintings they like the best after each round, and the winning team after the final round will be awarded with a special prize. Art created will be auctioned off at the event, with all proceeds going towards the Canadian Cancer Society.
