Join the Contemporary Art Society of Vancouver (CASV) for a day of artist talks and studio visits with the Emily Carr alumna shortlisted Artist Prize finalists: Jeneen Frei Njootli, Tiziana La Melia and Alexine McLeod.

Each will speak to their work and share a deeper understanding of their practices. Visits will take place at the artists studios. Become a CASV member to learn more.

One of the finalists will be selected by the CASV membership in September for a $10,000 cash prize to be awarded at the CASV's 40th anniversary party in October. Stay tuned!

The Contemporary Art Society of Vancouver is a registered charitable organization founded in 1977. We promote the understanding and appreciation of contemporary art by hosting a regular schedule of members-only events featuring prominent artists, curators, critics and collectors from around the world

The CASV Artist Prize was established in 2011 to encourage and support artists demonstrating remarkable ability within the first five years of their careers. Awarded to some of Vancouver’s most exciting young artists, the Prize provides significant financial recognition and is one of the few local art prizes of it’s kind.

The CASV Artist Prize is developed and awarded with the aim of helping artists gain greater awareness and appreciation. The prize is entirely funded by donations of CASV members and supporters.
