DDM Speakers: Lost in Space, Art in Structure

A studio talk by IATSE Art Director Gregory Clarke.
Gregory Clarke is a designer and artist living and working in Vancouver, Canada. His work is characterized by the premise that critical design practice can be both a poetic simplicity of form while being environmentally responsible.
As an IATSE Art Director, his experience on international projects relies on a highly proficient workflow to deliver captivating results. With accolades for technical and artistic achievement from the Art Directors Guild and the Prime Time Emmy’s, Gregory has a record of excellence in blending theory, concept and technical design.
As an artist, he uses reclaimed sailcloth to reimagine textile applications in structural form and light and shadow manipulation.
