Echo-Orientation: What Do We Need to Be Here?

Faculty Teaching Fellows, Joe O'Brien and Reyhan Yazdani invite you to the second workshop of a month-long collaborative gathering of discussions around themes of decolonization, language, relationship building, trust and access needs.
Week Two, March 21, 3:30 - 4:30pm: What Do We Need to Be Here?
Our needs and our bodies are our own, but every event, place, and relationship is a negotiation of needs among everyone who gathers. What would it be like if we were able to reorient ways of being, working, and coming together so that people and our varied needs and skills were always the starting point? What if the first question, in any gathering, was about what each of us needs in order to be able to show up fully? What would our responses be?
All members of the Emily Carr community are invited to come spend some time thinking through these questions with others — in person in the ECU library at the above time, or asynchronously using the link below from March 21 to April 4.
