We have a fantastic group of speakers lined up, with experience in everything from injection moulding to 3D printing of landscape models. Location is the same as usual: The MoCap Studio at Emily Carr University.

Jody Mitchell (Filaprint)
Owner of BC Small Business Award Winning company, Filaprint. A mother of two young boys, a nature nerd and a red wine lover! Jody started Filaprint in BC’s UNESCO Global Geopark - Tumbler Ridge. Using eco friendly PLA to print at home. Hobbies, Interests and passions collided to bring Filaprint where it is today. Printing the mountains she loves, Jody hand paints each model to bring them to life.

Bartosz Boz (3D Printing Confidential, previously Shapeways and Figureprints)
Bartosz Bos is an Additive Manufacturing consultant involved with commercial 3D printing for almost 8 years. He has worked for leading 3DP startups, Figureprints and Shapeways, where he mastered several industrial scale 3D printing technologies, specializing in Binder Jetting and Selective Laser Sintering. Join Bartosz for a peek behind the curtain to learn about the ins and outs of production level 3D printing, leveraging different technologies to maximize results and how to deal with common challenges of life in the Additive Manufacturing jungle.

John Biehler (3D604, 3DCanada)
John Biehler has been actively sharing his knowledge about 3D printing technology with people around the world for the past seven years. He cofounded 3D604.org, a group of over 400 3D printing enthusiasts and his first book, "3D Printing with Autodesk" was published in 2014 by Pearson. He’s currently working with Douglas Coupland on the 3DCanada project, a multiyear, country-wide 3D scanning and printing themed art project.

Chang Han (Inpress Technologies/Plascon Plastics)
Chang is the Chief Strategy Officer for Inpress Technologies and Plascon Plastics. He has co-founded, invested in, and worked for several local startups in a wide range of industries over the past decade. His entrepreneurial & consulting experience is balanced by his earlier professional & corporate career as first a litigator in the U.S., and then later an In-House Corporate Counsel managing the intellectual property portfolio for an international bank conglomerate based in Asia.
