Hosted by the Occasional Press, this public event is part of Vancouver Art Book Month.

This event will be the second public event for the Occasional Press and the first occasion for us to host a book table as well as showcase our feature publication, Practicing Neighbourly Responsibility, edited by Jean Chisholm and Laura Kozak.

This is a unique limited-run publication documenting a pedagogical experiment in place-based responsibility, attuned to social and ecological dynamics on unceded territory. The printed volume makes use of deadstock and supplies from The Stationery Project, and Riso-printed inserts. Marking the launch for this publication, the event will also include a book table which will showcase volumes published by Occasional Press, creative stationery works by The Stationery Project, and information about our future publications.

This event is part of Vancouver Art Book Month. Art Book Month is a parallel series of events hosted in spaces across Vancouver by a variety of artists, curators, collectives and institutions who are actively creating and presenting work in this medium.
