We warmly invite you to join us for the Open Studios event featuring work from Master of Fine Arts (MFA) and Master of Design (MDes) students at Emily Carr University. This is a special opportunity for members of the public, the university community, and prospective students to explore the vibrant practices emerging from our graduate studios.
Meet current students, engage with their creative and research work, and learn more about the dynamic environment that shapes graduate studies at ECU.
This public event serves as a moment of gathering for enrolled graduate students to connect with peers, faculty, and staff—celebrating the ongoing work and conversations happening within our graduate studio space.
Prospective students are especially welcome to attend! You’ll have a chance to tour the graduate studios, chat with current MFA/MDes students, and join a dedicated info session with Ava to learn more about the programs.
On November 20 from 5pm to 6pm Graduate Recruitment Coordinator, Ava Lanoway, will be onsite to discuss the MFA and MDes application process and answer questions you may have about the degrees. Please RSVP to confirm your attendance for this session and receive relevant application information after the session.
No RSVP is needed for Open Studios—just drop in!
Please RSVP only if attending the Graduate Recruitment Presentation.
For questions about the event or accessibility needs, feel free to contact us.
We look forward to seeing you there!
