A workshop for ECU Faculty to learn about HyFlex delivery, a hybrid and flexible approach to course delivery that provides learners with the choice to either attend class in person or join remotely.
The HyFlex course delivery model is a “hybrid and flexible approach” that provides learners with the choice to either attend class in person or join remotely (Ferrero, 2020).
While ECU instructors are not required to accommodate online students in face-to-face or hybrid classes, there are occasions when instructors may want to make this option available -- for example to split a larger class into smaller groups for in-person activities, or to accommodate a student who is isolating because of a Covid exposure.
