Zine-Making for Social Justice & End-of-Semester Celebration
On April 8th, join us for a zine-making social where creativity meets community! Reflect on our shared journey, contribute to future social justice initiatives, and exchange zines! Enjoy a welcoming space, all supplies provided, and of course, pizza!
Join us for a celebration of creativity and community as we wrap up an incredible semester! Led by Social Justice Community of Practice co-leads Hyein Lee and Banafsheh Mohammadi, this zine-making workshop is more than just an art session or a lunch break, it’s an opportunity to connect, reflect, and reimagine our collective journey.
During this event, you'll express your creativity through zine-making with a spirit of collaboration. It's a space to share your stories, reflections, and hopes for social justice in a warm, welcoming environment where you can connect and reflect with fellow participants. Moreover, you'll be invited to contribute to shaping the future by helping co-create next semester’s initiatives, envisioning how our Social Justice Community of Practice can continue to flourish and make a lasting impact.
We're thrilled to feature a special zine exchange with Reading the Migration Library, led by Lois Klassen at this event.
