We are pleased to announce the appointment of Kim Peacock, as Chair of the Board of Governors.

Kim Peacock is Principal of K2 Strategies, a business strategy and communications consulting firm, specializing in counsel on change management, stakeholder engagement, media strategy, and crisis and issues management. Prior to starting her own consulting firm in 2015, Kim was general manager of Edelman Canada West, one of the largest communications marketing firms in Canada, and the world. Prior to Edelman, Kim spent fifteen years working in publishing across every region in Canada. She was most recently Group Publisher for Transcontinental Western Media Group, overseeing their flagship titles, Vancouver magazine and Western Living. She has also served as Director of Global Marketing for Hootsuite, developing strategy to translate the Enterprise product throughout Europe, Latin America, and Australia.

Kim has taught, moderated, and spoken extensively on change management, leadership, and traditional and digital communications strategy. In 2015, she was named one of BC’s 50 Most Influential Women by BC Business Magazine. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from McGill University.
