Carole Itter Named Recipient of the 2017 Audain Prize for Lifetime Achievement

Former student and instructor, Carole Itter is known for her innovative work with assemblages of found materials.

We're thrilled to share news that Carole Itter has been selected as the recipient of the 2017 Audain Prize for Lifetime Achievement in the Visual Arts.

Carole attend the Vancouver School of Art (now ECU) from 1958 - 1961. A Vancouver-based interdisciplinary artist, writer, performer and filmmaker, she is known for her innovative work with assemblages of found materials. Carole also taught in our Continuing Studies and first year program between 1999 - 2004.

The Audain Prize, the VIVA Award and the Balkind Prize will be presented by the Vancouver Art Gallery in The Great Hall of the BC Law Courts Wednesday, April 19 at 7pm. This event is free and open to the public.
