Anderson Shelter
by Jen Candela
bachelor of fine arts, visual arts major
Fourth Year
It is a replica of a WWII air raid shelter built from cardboard in my backyard. It was a direct response to sheltering in place, but also a way to connect with my family's memories of the air raid shelter - fusing past difficulties with the present.
