Consumed is a self portrait series that reflects on the experience of anxiously keeping up with the constant and various updates on the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, from the perspective of a privileged Chinese person living outside of the epicentre.
About the Artist
Rebecca Wang is an interdisciplinary artist in her third year of the BFA program at Emily Carr University of Art + Design. Her photography work focuses on bringing awareness of the present moment and creating space for contemplation of the everyday.
