Are you planning on taking a course this summer?  Just a reminder that registration for summer classes will be happening between Monday and Thursday this week.  Your registration day depends on your year level.  For further information regarding summer registration, head here:

And remember, watch your Emily Carr email to be sure you receive all graduation notifications for things like tickets, images, etc.

Please be reminded that today is the last day to withdraw from classes without academic penalty.  Withdrawal forms must be submitted to Student Services by 4:15pm today.  Withdrawal forms are available in the Forms section on myEC.

Please note that summer add/drop and withdrawal policies are different from the fall and spring semesters so review them carefully before you consider registration.

Please be reminded that the deadline to withdraw from classes without academic penalty is Thursday, March 1st.  Withdrawal forms must be submitted to Student Services by 4:15pm that day.

Now is a good time to review your Class Schedule and make sure that you are attending all of the courses you are registered in.  Forgetting to withdraw from a course will result in an F grade on your transcript so be kind to your Grade Point Average and take a moment to check.

Just a reminder that the deadline to add and drop classes and to pay your fees is 4:30pm on Friday, January 19th.

If you are paying by internet banking, keep in mind that a payment will take 2 to 3 days to process so you will want to make the payment early enough to ensure it is applied to your account on time so you avoid any late fees.

This a reminder that if you are on a waitlist, permission to register is now reduced to 24 hours.  You must accept the space being offered within 24 hours or your permission to register will expire.  Check your email often!

Also, if you are on a waitlist you must attend the classes during the add/drop period or the instructor will remove you from the waitlist.  This helps to speed up the waitlist and get students into their waitlisted classes sooner.  It also ensures that you do not miss any course content while you are on the waitlist.

Please be reminded that during the Add/Drop period (from January 3 until January 19) there will be no pre-booked appointments available, only extended drop-in advising on a first-come, first-served basis:

Monday through Friday 11:00 - 1:00 and 2:30 - 4:00.

Please be advised the University will be closed from Thursday, December 21  through Tuesday, January  2, inclusive. Please note there will be no access during this time. We will re open on Wednesday, January 3rd, 2018.

Classes begin on January 8th, 2018.
