Changes to Border Restrictions for International Travellers

Starting on July 5, 2021 (11:59 ET), the Government of Canada will begin Phase 1 of easing border restrictions for international travellers.

Phase 1 means that fully vaccinated travellers eligible to enter Canada will not need to quarantine upon entry. All travellers to Canada will need to submit proof of vaccination in the ArriveCAN app before arriving in Canada.

To see if you meet the fully vaccinated conditions for travel into Canada, go here.

For non-vaccinated travellers who plan on coming to Canada, there are no changes in travel exemptions.
