material matters is seeking Research Assistants (RA’s) to work on Material Matters: Texture Lab - Material and Visual Poetics of Liquid Deposition Modelling in Architectural Product
Centered at Material Matters, Emily Carr University, Material Matters: Texture Lab - Material and Visual Poetics of Liquid Deposition Modelling in Architectural Product is an applied research project with Workbench, a Vancouver Architecture + Design studio, focused on 3D printing clay and clay composites for Architectural products. The project focuses on material development specific to 3D print requirements and the design parameters of the 3D printed process, towards market-ready methodologies and product outcomes applicable to emergent architecture and product design.
RA’s will work within the Material Matters lab at ECU, in collaboration with our project partner Workbench Studio. RA’s will work approximately 2 days / week throughout July and August 2025.
