Resolved: Network Outage Affecting Email and VPN

The network outage has been resolved. The fibre connection to campus was restored this morning. Thank you for your patience.

ECU is experiencing a network outage. All network services on campus and several remote services are currently unavailable. This includes email and VPN.

The outage is the result of road construction that has damaged the fibre connection. This has impacted the ECU campus as well as many of our neighbours in the Mount Pleasant area.

Our service providers are working to restore the connection. We will update you as we learn more information.
