The ECU Board of Governors invites you to participate in the Presidential Review for Reappointment survey.

All faculty, students and staff should have now received an email invitation from Keith Kerrigan, Chair of the ECU Board of Governors, to share feedback through a confidential survey on the Presidential Review for Reappointment process.

ECU President and Vice-Provost, Dr. Gillian Siddall is currently serving under an initial five-year contract with the ECU Board of Governors. The Board has assembled a Committee to oversee a review process and make recommendations to the Board, informed by the president’s role and responsibilities and feedback from the ECU community.

The survey is an integral part of the first formal review for the reappointment of ECU’s President and the first review of this kind at ECU. Survey themes and questions reflect the core areas of responsibility of the president.

The unique link in the email may only be used once and only by you. The link may not be forwarded or shared. Please check your SPAM folder or junk mail if you did not receive an invitation and survey link.

Your submissions are confidential. The response will be received by an external consultant at Higher Thinking Strategies Limited, who the Board engages to support this work. The consultant will analyze, collate, and summarize survey data for the Review Committee and the Board. Raw data will not be shared.

Due to technical difficulties, the survey was launched in two stages. If you received the invitation on Oct. 24, the survey will close on Nov. 6. For the second batch of recipients, you will have received the invitation on Oct. 31, and your survey will close on Nov. 13.
