What will we remember during this time?
We want to hear your stories of resilience, hope, and self-discovery.

The Quarantine Qapsule (QQ) is a digital archive of the Asian Canadian experience during the COVID-19 pandemic. The QQ organizing team, in partnership with ECU, are seeking creative and uplifting pieces from self-identifying Asian Canadian residents of BC (Asia is inclusive of the entire diaspora of South Asia, South East Asia and East Asia).

Submissions to the QQ archive can include a vlog, short film, pictures, art, original songs, etc. No fancy equipment required, art can be created anywhere in any style, creativity cannot be stifled!

Links to the submission form and mentorship application are on the QQ landing page.

Selected pieces will be featured in the Library’s online repository and will receive a $50.00 honorarium! Professional experience is not required, there is no fee to apply, and you must be 18 years old and over to submit.

Want to participate, but aren't sure how? Mentorship opportunities are available for applicants 14+. Find out more here.

Submissions have been extended and now close on May 21st, 2021.
