Interaction Design Certificate

Our Interaction Design Certificate is a 6-month, intensive full-time program which blends design principles with technical skills training. The program is ideal for students who are interested in learning the fundamentals of interaction design with the intention of gaining employment in that field after graduation.

The Interaction Design Certificate program is offered bi-annually, starting April and September. Applications are accepted throughout the year with opportunities for early admission. We recommend submitting your application by mid-February for April admission, and mid-June for September admission. Seats are limited.

Communication Design Essentials Certificate

Delivered by BCIT and Emily Carr University of Art + Design, the Communication Design Essentials Certificate is a one-year, full-time program that provides students with a solid foundation in communication design theory as well as graphic design skills in the Adobe Creative Cloud. In this age of information, organizations are expanding their communications and marketing departments, increasing the demand for graphic designers and communication professionals. With start dates in April and October, this career-focused program prepares graduates for a variety of roles in graphic design, advertising and marketing.
