About Industry Night
Industry Night is an opportunity for recent graduates of our Interaction Design Certificate program to meet and network with industry professionals, get feedback on their portfolios and job aspirations, and learn more about opportunities in the industry they are entering.
The event is formatted to provide discussions between industry members and recent graduates of our program. Your expertise and advice is very valuable!
Industry Night is hosted at Emily Carr University of Art + Design. Whether a new or previous guest of this event, we welcome you to join us! Limited tickets available, event open to those who RSVP.
Ticket holders must be current members of the UX industry.*

Industry Night has gone virtual!
The format of this event will include individual virtual rooms with 2-3 guests meeting 3 alumni over a period of 1.5 hours.
Each meeting will include:
- a 5-10 minute pitch presentation
- a 5-10 minute feedback discussion from participating industry guests
- and a 5-10 minute Q&A.
Guests can choose a 5:00-6:30pm timeframe, or a 5:45-7:15pm timeframe, that best suits your schedule.
About Interaction Design Certificate Program
The Interaction Design Certificate prepares students for work within the high-tech IxD sector. In this six-month, full-time program, students learn user interface and experience design principles, trends in interaction design and technologies, front and back-end coding, motion graphics and app design and production for both web and mobile-based platforms.
