Locker Registration

How to request a locker:


STEP 1.

  • Find the locker you would like to use.
  • Available lockers will have a tag on them.
  • Take the tag and use the code on it to fill in this form.
  • Keep the tag safe! You will need it later.

NOTE: This form is only a request.

Your locker assignment will be confirmed after we receive proof of payment from you.


STEP 2.

  • Pay for your locker. Payment must be made in person at the Student Payments window in the Student Commons: Monday-Friday, 9am-4:15pm (closed for lunch 12:30-1:30)
  • Wait for the Facilities Office to contact you to confirm your locker.
  • The Facilities Office will only contact you once proof of payment has been received.

PS - Please note that students must provide their own standard sized lock. Lockers won’t be released unless students have a lock. The Facilities Office does not have locks available for purchase.

ECU Locker Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions

When renting a locker from Emily Carr University of Art + Design, the student agrees to the following terms and conditions:

  • No student shall occupy a locker without first completing the Emily Carr University Locker Rental Agreement form and paying the locker fee in advance.
  • Locker contents remain the sole responsibility of the Renter at all times. Emily Carr University shall not assume responsibility for any liability connected with loss or any other unforeseeable situations connected therewith.
  • Renter is limited to using one locker only per rental period, and is required to provide one’s own lock to secure the locker. The University does not provide locks.
  • Lockers must be vacated and all contents removed at the end of the rental period. Contents include supplies, personal items, and any items affixed to the locker itself (stickers, posters, etc.). Items stored on top of lockers must also be removed at the end of the rental period. Any items stored in the lockers beyond the rental period will be removed and disposed of, without exceptions. 
  • The renter may be subject to a cleaning or restoration fee.
  • The Renter must not modify the locker or affix additional structures to the locker. If the locker is damaged or deemed not to be in a condition comparable to what it was at the start of the rental term, the renter may be subject to a cleaning or restoration fee.
  • Emily Carr University does not permit the storage of dangerous, hazardous, illegal or offensive items in lockers.
  • The Renter must exercise caution when storing foods, liquids or other substances inside lockers to prevent the escape of such items into other lockers.
  • The Renter must report any maintenance problems with their locker or locker hardware to the Facilities office, Rm D2351.
  • The Renter must keep the locker clean and odor-free at all times.
  • The use of lockers as permanent, year-round storage is not permitted.
  • Locker rental fees are non-refundable.
  • Lockers are not mandatory.
  • Emily Carr University reserves the right to access lockers at any time, without notice, for reasonable cause, including (but not limited to) suspicion of possession of illegal property, complaints with reasonable grounds, inappropriate use of locker space, or any unforeseen situation deemed an emergency by the university.
