Innovate NW is hosting this full-day event on International Women's Day at Anvil Centre to celebrate Women in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) as part of Innovation Week.

The day features speakers and panels to explore what’s working, what we need, and how we can connect the dots. This regional conversation also includes representation from government, non-profits, academia, and private business.

Kate Armstrong, Director of Living Labs + the Shumka Centre for Entrepeneurship, will be speaking on an afternoon panel entitled Holding Space For STEAM.

The panel is Moderated by Sarah Lubik (SFU Innovates) and also features Maureen McRae- Stanger (New Westminster Schools), and Jennifer Thompson (Angel Investor, Board Director, and Start-Up Executive).
