The Creative Shift: Industry Perspectives | The Human Responsibility in the Age of Intelligent Tools
ECU Continuing Studies presents a series of panel discussions, offering insights into diverse industries and opportunities to connect with leading professionals.
AI keeps moving faster than many can fully grasp, and is becoming part of how we design, work, and live day to day. For designers and creative leaders, this raises important questions about how we use emerging tools responsibly and what it means to stay accountable for the systems we help shape.
Our second installment of The Creative Shift: Industry Perspectives talk brings together three design leaders to unpack what it means to design and lead in an age of intelligent tools. They’ll share how they stay thoughtful in fast-moving environments, setting boundaries, encouraging critical thinking, and keeping people at the center of their work.
This conversation explores both the excitement and the complexity of emerging technology and intelligent tools, and how we can stay curious while safeguarding values like privacy, equity, and integrity that define good design and responsible leadership. It also asks how designers can help build awareness, trust and literacy among users and teams, and what collective responsibility looks like as technology evolves.
This event includes dedicated time for a Q&A, so please come prepared with your questions.
