Key Resources
You’ve discovered the shops and studios, now what? It's time to book a session and complete a mandatory safety orientation to ensure you understand the materials you’re working with and how to use them properly. Here’s a simple how-to guide to booking spaces.
Along with signing up for studio time, you should also visit the Tool Checkout + Material Resale (C1272), which allows you to sign out various tools and purchase materials at a discounted rate. If you need analog and digital audio, video and photo equipment, then head over to the Media Resources Centre to sign out these materials for your projects. The technicians can also help you use the equipment and troubleshoot when things go awry!
Make sure to get familiar with all these spaces and complete your safety orientation. It's a small step that will make your experience much smoother!
