Ballet BC is pleased to announce the World Premiere of Artistic Director, John Alleyne's latest creation, The Four Seasons. This beautiful, lyrical and compelling work takes place from February 14-16, 2008. The Four Seasons includes the ground-breaking work of installation artist, Alan Storey (Sessional Faculty) and visual artist Tiko Kerr will be painting live on stage each performance. Live music will be performed by members of the Vancouver Opera Orchestra for both The Four Seasons and the Canadian Premiere of A Garden (choreography by Mark Morris). Also included is a touching piece by Dominique Dumais, a/way inside.

On February 11th at 5:30pm Ballet BC's Studio Series (sneak-preview of The Four Seasons) takes place at the Scotiabank Dance Centre (Faris studio). John Alleyne will be in attendance and will share his vision and inspiration for his exciting new work. This event is open to the media and those interested in covering this intimate rehearsal and/or arranging interviews are requested to make arrangements prior to February 1st.
