Meyer Family Vineyards Painting Competition Winners Announced
Meyer Family Vineyards are owned and operated by Jak and Janice Meyer in the pristine Naramata bench land overlooking Okanagan Lake. As part of the inaugural launch of the Tribute Series, Meyer Family Vineyards is paying homage to influential artist Emily Carr through a painting competition. Emily Carr Institute students and alumni were invited to enter a painting for a chance to share in $5,000 in prize money with first place receiving $2,500.
The competition was juried by Rita Beiks, (96) “Emily Goes Commercial”, Philippe Raphanel, part-time Faculty, and Cate Rimmer, Curator.
