Sally Michener - Surrey Art Gallery

Sally Michener (former faculty and Dean) will hold an illustrated presentation that will focus on her experiences during a trip to China in 2007 at the Surrey Art Gallery. Highlights will include being one of ten Canadian ceramic artists who completed a month-long residency to create permanent artworks for the opening of the Canadian Ceramic Museum, located in the Fuping Pottery Art Village. Michener has also completed a residency in the city of Jingdezhan, which has long been known as a ‘capital of porcelain’.
