The Charles H. Scott Gallery is pleased to present a solo exhibition of the work of Irish artist, Gerard Byrne. Byrne is currently representing Ireland at the Venice Biennale. This is Byrne's first exhibition in Canada.

The exhibition, curated by Cate Rimmer, will focus on two major artworks where Byrne makes use of interviews published in mainstream magazines from the 1960s. He translates the texts into performances that then form the basis of video installations and photographic series.
