Mustang Survival

A project with PFD manufacturer Mustang Survival in which the objective was to change the behavior of boaters and encourage them to use a life jacket. Through research, I found my target audience to be males, aged 18-34, hence I used simple geometric shapes and a bold design to catch their attention. The spray painted text would be present on boat launching sites, accompanied by a sign located on the boating docks to ensure my message would be reached even if the boat was constantly moored. I used a first person narrative to put the viewer in the situation of being present while somebody they knew and cared about drown in order to reinforce the message of the importance of wearing a life jacket.
