I always start work as an experiment in process. The material and its applications seems to direct the inquiry. I draw/paint or work with digital content on diverse surfaces as per the demand of the visual. My work decides how it wants to be displayed as a painting on the white wall or as an installation.
Living between the subjective and objective state of being my paintings reflect the ever-changing, movement, sway, stop, start, pause, stutter etc of life which is personal and social operating at the same time. Starting with topographical marks made with crayon’s,lead, charcoal and organic forms similar to water marks made in thin oil paint, layers of content camouflaged in shapes and forms, colour, architectural lines,flat planes, shades and hues, textured forms and blurred margins that exist between and within the spatial and temporal moments. Synonymous to life the act of layering and erasing, simultaneously adding and subtracting from the image. The digital is image is a conglarmoration
