A guide to sighted guide :: process

description

A guide to sighted guide is an information pamphlet designed for high school students, educating them of the respectful and politically correct approach of interacting and assisting a person who is blind.

Despite its informative visuals, the guide lacks empathy and a call to action. Upon redefining project scope and conducting extensive user-testing and online surveys, the project took several drastic turns because the target audience does not need to be taught to be respectful, and political correctness is defined by the person who is blind.
