Merlin and the Dragons / Book

This project was a challenge to tell a story using only typography. The story was chosen from Arthurian legend and I considered how the story would have been originally told using the oral tradition. I constructed the typography in a way that would put emphasis and feeling into the words and allow the reader to tell the story aloud with expression.

I also used the opportunity to explore the craft of book binding and embossing which resulted in a very personal feeling small hardcover book with a hand embossed cover.
