Imaginarrative Adventures is an exploration into a possible version of future storytelling in an emerging interactive and mobile culture. The goal is to revitalize the role narrative plays in growing and expanding our imaginations. This is accomplished by combining elements of storytelling, soundscape design, and locative media to create a unique way of navigating and experiencing stories.

Imaginarrative Adventures begins with a story that is translated into an immersive soundscape through narrative storytelling and environmental audio. Locative media is then used to overlay the story-world onto reality, allowing the user navigate the story world by physically moving around in the outdoor environment, which results in the development of a spatial relationship with the narrative. Players would experience the story purely through sounds and voice acting, leaving the visuals completely up to their imagination.
