Riven Stool

We were tasked with creating a high stool for 18 KARAT store. They were asking for a design that was very simple and lightweight, but looked towards the future with incredibly blue-sky ideas. Through our 18 Karat store visit we decided to create an elegant piece of furniture that can fit beautifully into this space.18 KARAT has always designed through inspiration, whether that be nature, texture, colors, shapes or even other objects and furniture and we got our inspiration from the tree asymmetry and put it in our work!

Through this process we learned a lot about the scale and the character of our product. We explored the relationship of the individual pieces and we learned about the structure
