Disrupting Currents: Catch + Release

For my CO-OP placement at Emily Carr University I had the opportunity to be a research assistant for Jim Budd. The goal of Catch + Release was to design an interactive exhibition for the Gulf of Georgia Cannery that raised the importance of salmon and the ocean. The final design features sculpture, video interviews, interactive sensor technology and live ocean data from NEPTUNE Canada. I was in charge of data research, designing user interactions and translating them into scenario sketches.
