COMD 213: Design Photo: Digital Imaging

In this studio/lab course students develop their critical thinking, creative, and technical skills to use photography in their work as designers. Students investigate the theoretical and practical applications of digital imagery and its relationship to communication design needs. Topics covered include: digital imaging and management; image processing and manipulation, colour theory and management, lighting, design elements and principles in photographic composition, visualization strategies for specified design communication objectives and the basics of art direction.

Priority is given to COMD and INTD students in Year 2. Students outside of the registration priority group may register/waitlist for this course as of the registration rule release date.
